Maintenance Supervisor $85,000 to $105,000 salary range Position Overview:
The Maintenance Supervisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient operation of our high-speed manufacturing plant.
This position is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities within assigned areas to uphold the plant's productivity, meet production schedules, and adhere to budgetary constraints.
The Maintenance Supervisor provides leadership to the maintenance team, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and quality standards are consistently met.
Key
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Direction:
Provide overall leadership and direction to the maintenance team on an assigned shift.
Assign and direct work activities to ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.
Staff Training and Development:
Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills and knowledge of maintenance personnel.
Develop and implement training programs to address skill gaps and promote career advancement.
Mentor and coach maintenance staff to optimize individual and team performance.
Parts Supply Management:
Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure availability of necessary parts and supplies for maintenance activities.
Monitor inventory levels and reorder parts as needed to prevent disruptions to maintenance schedules.
Evaluate suppliers and negotiate contracts to obtain competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of parts.
Preventative/Predictive Maintenance Systems:
Develop and implement preventative and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
Establish maintenance schedules and procedures to proactively address equipment failures and performance issues.
Utilize maintenance management software to track and analyze equipment performance data for continuous improvement.
Downtime Tracking and Analysis:
Monitor equipment downtime and analyze root causes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Implement corrective actions and process enhancements to reduce unplanned downtime and increase overall equipment efficiency (OEE).
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address systemic issues impacting production uptime.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role within a high-speed manufacturing environment.
Strong technical knowledge of maintenance best practices, including preventative and predictive maintenance techniques.
Proficiency in maintenance management software and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Knowledge of safety regulations and practices applicable to manufacturing operations.
Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.

$85,000.
